When entering a purchase invoice or bank payment on the purchase ledgers would like these screens to be a different colour to the sales ledger screens so if you have multiple tabs open it is more noticeable as to the type of transaction you are working on.

If entering a transaction it is not obvious which type of transaction you are entering - ie a purchase invoice or a sales invoice other than at the top left of the page it says "New Sales Invoice" or "New Purchase Invoice", both pages are the same colour and it would be very easy to be entering data on the wrong screen.
