The Budget was setup to work to a specified date, following feedback, we should, for now restrict the dates so that they are always run for the 1st of the month as they are with KEYPrime until we have a clear picture of how the data entry and reporting will work for such scenarios.
At the moment if we run the budget from the 06/04/2024 to 05/04/2025 you will get 13 periods, however, in reality the user will be comparing these periods to a 12 period report starting with the 1st period as 06/04/2024 - 05/05/2024.
The consensus is that at this level and until we get to the larger clients, the requirement for period based reporting as opposed to calendar based reporting is not essential.
